FAQ

Questions cleaning companies ask us

Straight answers about what SweepOS is, what it costs, how the Swedish pieces work, and what it takes to move across.

The basics

What is SweepOS?

SweepOS is software for running a cleaning company: clients and sites, scheduling, checklists, time tracking, quotes, contracts, invoicing and payroll-ready hours in one place, with a mobile app for the field and a portal for customers. It is built for cleaning specifically, so RUT, ROT and public-sector e-invoicing are part of the product rather than add-ons.

Who is SweepOS for?

Cleaning companies from a one-person operation upwards — home cleaning, offices, stairwells, moving cleans and facility work. The free plan suits a solo operator or a small crew; the paid plan is built for companies scheduling a team across many sites every week.

Which languages does SweepOS work in?

Six: English, Swedish, German, Polish, Spanish and French. Each person chooses their own, so your office can work in Swedish while a cleaner sees their schedule and checklists in Polish or Spanish.

Pricing and switching

What does SweepOS cost?

Free for one admin and up to three workers, with no time limit and no credit card. Above that it's €25 per admin per month and €4 per worker per month (249 kr and 39 kr in Sweden). Enterprise is quoted for larger operations. The prices are published — you never have to ask for a quote to find out what it costs.

What does switching from our current system cost?

There is no setup fee and no onboarding project to buy. You import clients, sites and schedules yourself, and we help with the parts that are fiddly. Most teams are running their first week inside a few days, so the real cost is a couple of evenings — not a consultancy invoice.

Are we locked in if we change our minds?

No. Your clients, schedules, hours and invoices stay yours and can be exported whenever you like, and there's no notice period to serve on a monthly plan. We would rather earn the next month than trap you in it.

Sweden, RUT and e-invoicing

How do I invoice RUT deductions in SweepOS?

Mark the deductible labour on the invoice and the customer is billed their reduced share. SweepOS then produces the begäran (request) file Skatteverket expects, and when the decision comes back you import it: each line is reconciled automatically, and anything Skatteverket turns down is prepared as a top-up invoice to the customer.

Can SweepOS send e-invoices to municipalities and public bodies?

Yes. SweepOS builds a compliant structured e-invoice and sends it over the Peppol network, which is what public buyers across Europe require instead of a PDF. Buyer references and order numbers are held per site, so every monthly invoice carries what the customer needs to pay it.

Where is our data stored?

On infrastructure inside the EU/EEA, encrypted in transit and at rest and backed up daily. SweepOS is built to comply with GDPR, and personal data is processed only to run your business — never sold, never shared for advertising.

Getting started

How long does it take to get going?

You can create an account and schedule your first visit the same afternoon. Bringing across clients, sites and recurring schedules is the part that takes real time, and for most small companies that's an evening's work — bigger operations usually spread it over a week.

Can we import our existing clients and schedules?

Yes. Clients, sites and recurring visits can be brought in rather than typed, and we help you shape the file if your current system exports something awkward. Nobody should have to re-key three years of customer records to try a new tool.

Is there a real app for the cleaners?

Yes — native apps on the App Store and Google Play, not a website with an icon. Each worker sees their own schedule, site details, checklists and instructions, checks in and out, uploads photos and reports problems, in their own language.
